FRENCHAY PARKLANDS

The remaining areas have now been handed over to Winterboure Parish Council to manage for future generations to enjoy. This has involved over 10 years of negotiations and we are thankful for everyone who has been involved.

Frenchay Flower Show - It will be held on the new Frenchay Parklands in 2024 rather than the common by the village hall. The date is Saturday 12th July. For more details visit www.frenchayflowershow.com or enquiries@frenchayflowershow.com

TRAFFIC IN FRENCHAY

Frenchay Councillors are in discussions with South Glos Council Highways officers with regards to the A4174 ring road congestion at peak times. Traffic from Frenchay trying to join the ring road which is blocked by motorists from the Downend and Winterbourne directions, We have requested a yellow hatched box and traffic officers to look at re-designing the junction.

Frenchay Preschool

Has been purchased by Winterbourne Parish Council and is now renovated It is used as a residents book exchange - please do visit!
